President and CEO Tack Jin Kim transformed NCsoft into a phenomenal success, grossing over 150 billion Korean Won in annual sales in six short years. This amazing success is attributed to Mr. KimΓÇÖs analytical, but ΓÇ£open doorΓÇ¥ style of management and charismatic leadership. Through bold investments in technology, aggressive market entry initiatives, and a key pioneering role, Mr. Kim has successfully demonstrated the potential of the online games industry.
Before establishing NCsoft, Mr. Kim co-wrote Hangul, KoreaΓÇÖs best-known word processing program. Through his involvement at Hanmesoft, the software company that created Hangul, and Aminet, KoreaΓÇÖs first online Internet service provider (presently known as Shinbiro), he established himself as a prominent figure in KoreaΓÇÖs IT world.
